Reviews
I used all 3 levels of the Classroom for Little Mozart this year. I needed just about 30 lessons to make it through the year teaching once a week. Level 1 starts out slow but builds a good foundation for rhythm and sounds. In the later levels they will learn note names and values and other musical terms. They will learn some solfege syllables but no letter note names. The curriculum mainly focuses on rhythm, singing and playing classroom instruments. It builds a good foundation in our 4-6 year olds that will benefit the school music program in the future. Level 3 specifically introduces whole notes and eighth notes and then has lessons more on music appreciation involving dance and opera. The 30 minute schedule in perfect and can be supplemented with other ideas they include. It starts every class with the same opening song and a story that introduces the new concept. It then teaches new songs that involve different skills. The class ends with reinforcing the concept with a coloring page.
